Does having babies change our reading habits?

According to a new survey out this week, once women have children, their literary ambitions go out the window and they turn instead to easy fiction like chick lit. The survey by parenting website netmums suggests that tired mums would prefer to curl up with Victoria Beckham's autobiography than anything of literary weight.

Eighty per cent of the 6000 mums surveyed said they do not have enough time to read and 55 per cent said they would rather sleep than take a book to bed.
