Night Garden Makes A Mint 4 February 2008 Iggle Piggle more popular than Troy and Gabriella
The Guardian reports that in just five months, the BBC show made more money - £10.8m – from its range of toys, than High School Musical did over the whole of 2007. BBC Worldwide's director of children's Gill Pritchard told the paper: '2007 was a great year for us, boosted mainly by the runaway success of In the Night Garden…it's a brand that has really captured the imaginative consciousness of parents and pre-schoolers.'
