Thankfully London Underground has now brought out a new interactive service to help people with mobility issues – everyone from the disabled, to mums with buggies, or people with heavy luggage – to find the best way around the tube. The Directenquiries.com website enables lets tube travellers personalise their route according to their individual needs. As well as route maps, the website details the number of steps, lifts, escalators, walking distances, ramps and platform to train gap width so that parents can decide their best possible route before traveling. The site also features information such as parking at the station, toilets or other facilities. |
