Your Little Helpers? 18 December 2007 Three quarters of kids help out with household chores
The findings of the 'Hotpoint's Little Helpers' survey show the kind of household chores that are most and least likely to be undertaken by kids. Top of the list is putting toys away, with 92% of mums saying their children cleared up their toys – but the least popular task is cleaning the bathroom – just 8% of children help out with this. The most helpful kids in the land apparently live in Northern Ireland – children there help out with most chores including, cooking, loading the dishwasher, dusting and vacuuming. London kids do the least in Britain, coming bottom of the league table. How much do your children help out around the house? Talk about this story in our Talk! section here.
