Mum Of 13 Who's A Size Zero
May 17 2007

Normal mums look away now!

thin womanWhilst most of us put on too much weight during pregnancy and then spend years or decades after birth trying to slough off the extra pounds, a mum from the Channel Islands has remained a mini size zero despite giving birth 13 times!

Depressingly, mother of 12 Joanne Watson, has no cunning tips to pass on to other mothers on how she's managed to stay so slim despite her multiple pregnancies. 'A few days after giving birth to baby Bradley (now aged 16), I tiptoed on to the scales and gasped as the needle came to a halt,' she tells the papers today. 'I was almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight, 7st 3lb. My friends would ask me what the secret was but I don't have one.'

The 36-year-old grandmother is now pregnant again and says she just loves her enormous family. Every time is exciting again and all the children are excited too. Who knows whether I'll fit back into my jeans after this one? We'll have to wait and see.'
