Lourdes' Clothes Offend Madonna March 1 2007 You're not going out dressed like that...!
'My daughter is going through a phase of wearing jeans that are so tight she can't bend her knees in them,' says Madonna. 'I have a go at her and say, 'Can't you wear something else? You have a closet full of clothes and you wear the same pants every day. And please wear a belt because I don't want to see your butt crack when you bend over... the only thing Lourdes has requested to have when she grows up is my wedding dress, to wear for her own wedding.' Five-year-old Rocco presents a similar problem to his weary mother; 'My son never wants to take off his Gap army fatigue pants. They both wear the same thing over and over again.' |

We wonder if Madonna is enjoying the irony of being parent to a girl with a very distinct fashion sense. In
an interview with Elle magazine the singer bemoans the fact that her kids Lourdes (10) and Rocco (5) are driving
her crazy with the things they wear.
