Father attacked on his own doorstep

The spate of shocking stabbings continues this week with the story of a father attacked on his own doorstep whilst carrying his child. The father of three was killed after an argument over money, believed to be just 40p.

A witness told the Sun that following an argument in the street, the father of three went home while his attacker returned to his own home to fetch a knife. The attacker knocked at the victim's front door and when the victim answered, carrying his three year old son, he was knifed to death. ' It was horrible - there was blood everywhere,' said the witness.

The father was taken to Bristol royal infirmary where he later died of his injuries.
