Now we've heard everything. The latest recruit to the ranks of celebrity Yummy Mummy, Anna Friel has revealed how she ditched her post-pregnancy pounds. The actress, who was keen to regain her formerly svelte figure, turned to a state of the art hoover to suck up the weight.

In an interview with Grazia magazine, Friel explains that she used an exercise machine called the Hypoxi Vacunaut. Whenever she exercised, she pulled on a rubber suit (here comes the science bit!) which in turn was attached by three small hoses to the Vacunaut machine. The machine then creates a vaccum around the stomach as you exercise. That in turn increase the blood flow to the area, which - manufacturers claim - absorbs the fat and is then excreted in sweat which is also sucked out.

Despite having gone to such extraordinary lengths to lose her pregnancy weight, the actress maintains that she's disgusted by the pressure new mums have to lose those extra pounds. 'You're judged if you gain it, you're judged if you lose it,' she said. 'I just want to get into my natural shape and maintain the energy and be able to enjoy my career and family.'
