August Celebrity Round-up August 29 2006 And now for something completely different... the pick of the tabloid tittle-tattle
Musicians Elvis Costello (52) and Diana Krall (41) are expecting their first child in December plus it's good news for three months pregnant ex-Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, who was relieved to discover all was well this week after an early morning dash to A&E at Warrington General. And now for the traditional Beckham Baby Speculation - bony Victoria Beckham (32) is rumored to be expecting her fourth child after being spotted 'wearing baggier tops'. Perhaps that's why she's just agreed a deal to present a new fashion reality TV show - those extra nappies cost money, don't you know? Another unfounded yet well-reported rumour is the incipent wedding between supermodel Kate Moss and ne'er-do-well Pete Doherty - is this man going to make a good stepfather for Moss's three year-old daughter Lila Grace? Look out world, there's going to be an addition to the Hilton chain. According to OK! Magazine, heiress Paris Hilton warns 'In the next five years I want children. I don't care if it ruins my party lifestyle.' Hold on Paris! Five years? Don't you think you're rushing into things? No such worries in La La Land, as Michael Douglas (61) has told his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones that two children (six year-old Dylan and three-year-old Cerys) is enough. Thanks for sharing, Michael! Congratulations to Mark Owen of Take That! with firstborn Elwood Jack Owen born on 19 August, weighing in at a hefty 9lbs 2 oz. Model Nell McAndrew, who gave birth to Devon (7lb 8oz) on 24 August, denies that the name of her son has any Beckham-esque connections with the West Country, saying that she and her husband simply loved the name. Invisible baby Suri Cruise will make her official debut in October issue of Vanity Fair, starring in a photoshoot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. Don't hold the front page, but Suri is reported to be 'small' and looks like both her father Tom Cruise and mum Katie Holmes - radically different from all other babies, then. Don't they grow up quickly? Watch out for a screen kiss between Daniel Radcliffe and his co-star Katie Leung, in the forthcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. According to Dirty Dan, it was 'fun' and took about 30 takes to get it right! Thrifty Nicole Ritchie is earning extra pocket money starring in the the video for dad Lionel's new single I Call It Love, whilst naughty spendthrift Peaches Geldof has had her allowance stopped by Sir Bob. It's reported she spent £4,000 on a bottle of champagne in Santa Eulalia. In the light of recent tabloid snaps, let's hope that's all she's spending whopping wodges of cash on. You've probably heard this one before but for anyone who's been living in a cave this month, Anne Bennett was delighted when her son, Tourette's Syndrome sufferer Pete, scooped the £100, 000 Big Brother prize. He intends to use the cash to pay off his mum's mortgage... bless! And finally... all grannies love to show off about their grandchildren's achievements and Her Majesty has lots to boast about. Royal grand-daughter Zara Phillips will almost certainly be on the 2008 Beijing Olympics team following victory at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen. *Source: Going to University from Care by Sonia Jackson, Sarah Ajayi and Margaret Quigley for the Frank Buttle Trust 2005
