Cameron's Nappy Challenge February 28 2006 Why Tory leader won't be changing to green nappies
'I'm afraid I plead guilty,' the father of three told the programme, saying; 'I do my best in other areas. I've been sent some reusable nappies by a company which we will give a try, but particularly when children first turn up you get through a lot of nappies and changes and we've got three children in nappies.' 'I do my best in terms of cars and bicycles and the house we're about to move into,' he added. 'But nappies, I'm afraid, is a rubicon at the moment that I'm just not able to cross.' Asked about whether his two week old son Arthur would have the MMR, Cameron replied, 'My children have had the MMR vaccine but I do think that the NHS needs to look out for if the amount of children having this injection falls. They need to look at how they can encourage them to have that and that might mean single jabs.' But he confirmed that as for the MMR jab, Arthur 'will have it when the time comes.'
