The ultimate celebrity mum, Victoria Beckham, has been pipped to the post in naming her next baby 'Luna'.

As a mother of three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, she had hoped that the next member of the family would be a daughter who she had hoped to call 'Luna' - the Spanish word for moon. But much to her annoyance, Frank Lampard, England team mate of her husband David, got there first: Lampard and his fiancé Elen Rives announced the birth of their daughter Luna on Monday.

Elen, a Spanish model, had an elective caesarian - a procedure that Mrs. Beckham had famously undergone - at the Portland Hospital in London and has named her child Luna Coco Patricia Lampard.

The new mother and father are said to be delighted, with mother and baby doing fine.
