Top chef heads a poll of celebrity fathers

His speech may be peppered with expletives, and his management style rather forceful, but chef Gordon Ramsay is apparently Britain's favourite celebrity Dad. A poll of 3000 mums put Ramsay, who's the father of four, in pole position as the nation's best dad.

'It's fascinating to see what qualities mothers look for in an ideal father,' said Dominic Gardiner, spokesman for Cartoon Network. 'Even Gordon Ramsay would admit that his language isn't always suitable for kids, but many mothers appear to think that he would have exactly the right ideas when it comes to bringing up children.'
