Posh's Party Wrecked Kids' Exams
July 17 2006

Beckhams blamed for do that kept local children up all night

student in examA massive world cup party held by the Beckhams, is being held responsible by local parents for any poor results their children might have in their GCSEs. Parents living nearby complained to the local council when their kids were kept awake by celebrities partying at Posh and Beck's Hertfordshire home.

'I really wish the party had not taken place on a Sunday night, especially not that Sunday night,' said one letter of complaint to the council. 'I packed my daughter off to bed at 9.30 as her GCSEs began the next morning. It was two o'clock when we all woke to hear what sounded like Robbie Williams performing in our back garden. I may feel a little more strident come August when we get her results.'

Another neighbour made a formal complaint to the council who noted; '"Resident's son took first GCSE today and feels this is very unfair as was awake all night as was the rest of the family. Resident has spoken to neighbours who all feel party at this time was thoughtless.'

The party may not have gone down well with the neighbours, but children's charity NSPCC was delighted by the £3.5million raised by the celebrities that night.
