The UK's best example of modern fatherhood

Whatever you think of his footballing skills, David Beckham's role as father of three young sons has made him the UK's best example of modern fatherhood. In a new survey released to tie in with this weekend's Father's Day, the England captain walked away with 29% of the popular vote – thrashing his nearest opposition, Chris Martin, who scraped by with just 9%.

Just over 500 parents were asked by toy company Smoby, who they thought was the best example of modern fatherhood. Other top dads included Tony Blair (8%), Peter Andre (6%) and Brad Pitt (3%).
