Star slammed for putting baby at risk

Road Safety campaigners have been up in arms following reports that pop star Britney Spears drove her car while dangling her four month old baby on her lap. The singer, who was pictured by paparazzi, drove for two miles with the infant on her knees.

Californian law is the same as UK law – babies must be properly strapped into an infant car seat. It seems that when Britney and husband Kevin took their car to the local Starbucks, young Sean was strapped in as expected. But when the bodyguard popped into the coffee shop, she became alarmed by a crowd of photographers, and when the bodyguard came back, drove off without strapping the baby back in.
