'A
parent's place is in the wrong'.
Whatever you do, sooner or later some
expert will tell you that you've done the wrong thing.
At Raisingkids, our view is that most parents do the right thing
most of the time, simply because they love their children and care
about them more than anyone else can.
Express your love. Make your child
feel secure. Build their self esteem. Stay flexible and recognise
the time for change as your child grows. Communicate openly and
honestly and be confident in your own ability. These are the important
things.
This part of the site covers some
of the skills that will help you feel more confident.
