Members' Tips: Potty Training
When to start 'It is a good idea to remember it is about nerve
pathways - they are not always formed when we go to train our children.
Sometimes that other parents are using toilet-timing, not toilet-training,
which adds to the pressure.' Tried-and-tested potty training tips 'I have put a potty in my son's room so he can
use it when he wakes. He has two Smarties every time he uses the potty
and now says 'Sweeties!' when he has done a wee. People say that you shouldn't

This also takes about 2 weeks and I don't do the 2 together - wait until
it's dry by day.' 'My daughter was perfectly happy to sit on the

Then I saw a video advertised Potty Time with Bear in the Big Blue
House. I bought it for her and played it that night but she didn't
show much interest. I reckoned another of my bright ideas had failed but
about 1 hour after watching it she came through and asked for her potty,
did the business and that's been her ever since! Won't work for everyone
but it's worth a go. ' Nappy for a poo? And finally... Share your experiences
