Discussions: Making & Changing Posts

How do I add my message to a Discussion?
You must be a member and be signed in to post a message, unless you need to post a technical question like 'why can't I sign in?' (if you're not a member, it's free to join and only takes a minute or so - just click here and fill in our membership form).

Sign in by clicking on this button:

Enter your username and password. If you tick 'Auto Login', your brower will remember your username and password for next time. If you tick 'Add me to Active Users list', other raisingkids.co.uk members will be able to see that you're in the Discussions area - you can still sign in without ticking either box.

Once you've signed in, post a reply by clicking on:

Type your message into the textbox at the bottom of the page:

...then click on this button:

The page will refresh and your message will come up below the other posts.

If I change my mind, can I delete one of my posts?
Only moderators can delete posts. If you want to delete a post which you've made, please email us with the URL of the page that the post appears on.

How do I search in the Discussions?
You may search for specific posts based on a word or words found in the posts, user names, or date.

To search the Discussions, click on:

Can I search for someone by their username?
Yes, you can search for postings by any member, or mentions of them in postings by other people. If you want to see a member's public profile, remember you can only read information that they're happy for anyone to see, so you won't be able to find out their phone numbers or addresses.

To search for a particular member, click on:

Still need help?
If your questions aren't answered here, please try posting your query in Help, FAQs & Notices. As some of our visitors want more information on membership, anyone can post a message here, whether they are a member or not - simply click here.

Please note, however, Help, FAQs & Notices is only for technical problems with the site. To use the other Discussion boards, you'll need to join.

If you still can't find your answer, please email our moderators.
