Castle Howard is offering a range of entertaining adventure trails over the holidays to bring the history and landscape of Castle Howard alive for children. Trails on fairies, dragons and monsters run daily starting at 11.30am in the Boar Garden. No need to pre-book.

World At War, Eden Camp, Malton, Yorkshire

Go back in time at the World War II re-enactment weekend at Eden Camp. This is a living museum set in an original prisoner of war camp. Don't forget to have a Victory Roll in the Prisoners' Canteen!

Easter Panto, National Coal Mining Museum, Wakefield

It may not sound particularly seasonal, but Pocket Panto's production of Aladdin is bound to be hugely popular this Easter. There's also a range of special Easter activities on at the museum, including a brand new Easter Egg Trail, arts and craft activities and living history performances.
