Parents have been busy telling us what kind of treats they'd pick for themselves. Here's some of the best so far…
Boiled eggs and toast soldiers that my husband makes, sat in front of the TV without any children around and watching something that I want to watch. Magic!
A Spring picnic with all the family.
Going for a lovely long walk, with my kids on the beautiful, golden sandy beach not far from me and having a picnic whilst listening to the waves.
A really nice bubble bath with ginger warming bath soak...heaven, followed by snuggling up in front of the fire in my pink fluffy robe and slippers and watching a good film.
Eating dinner out with adults, which means no toddler jumping up and down on his chair trying to decide whether he's going to eat or not or whether he wants to dip into my plate.
A treat of mine, is a day to myself when my wife takes the kids to a friends house, and I stay at home. It's a selfish treat, but its MY treat. It's nothing special, I just get to stay at home and do what I want in peace, complete luxury for me.
It has to be going out with friends shopping or just for lunch without the kids. No point trying to do anything for myself at home there's always someone interrupting my "quiet time" with my bar of chocolate!
Oooh, a lovely long walk in the countryside...with a picnic at the end of it, and maybe even a pint if I've been a very good girl.
My favourite treat is when the kids are in bed, it's nice and peaceful and I can sit down enjoy a cup of tea and do my knitting with no interruptions!
