Students have more than ever to learn at school these days, and there seems to be an endless succession of exams and assessments. Our guest expert, Frank McGinty, is here to help parents guide their children through the classroom jungle!

Frank McGinty - author of Take the Sting Out of Study: Concentration Made Easy and Smart Thinking: Confidence & Success Sorted (both published by Piccadilly Press).

He has over 20 years teaching experience, having been an English teacher, a Support For Learning teacher and latterly Principal Guidance teacher in a Glasgow comprehensive. Frank has taught in a boys' school, a co-ed school and a girls' school, and has a degree in Literature and Psychology, with post-graduate qualifications in Secondary Education and Learning Support.

Frank has been involved in many educational projects to help school phobics, reluctant learners and pupils with behavioural difficulties, and believe strongly that all children have great potential; managing emotional states and developing self-belief is the key to unlocking this potential.
