Online Midwife: Am I Pregnant Or Not?

pregnancy test If two separate pregnancy tests give different results, which one should you believe? Our midwife has the answer.

Raisingkids member's problem
I did a pregnancy test today and it was positive. I then did another one just to check and that one was negative. Does that mean I am or I'm not pregnant?

Midwife Genevieve Kingston's Advice
The rule of thumb is to believe the one that says positive. Make an appointment to see your GP, and tell them you had one positive pregnancy test result, followed by a negative.
