Catherine Hanly has been Editor of Raisingkids.co.uk since 2004. An experienced online journalist, Catherine edited the movie website, Empire Online, for five years before swapping the red carpet for stairgates and bottle warmers.

Catherine has a daughter, Emily, aged five, which means she's now learning all about playground politics and the importance of good school gate presentation.
